Precision Metal Parts

End caps, connectors and locking parts for telescoping poles, ±0.05 mm, made alongside your tubes.

Upsilon CNC-machines the end caps, connectors, locking parts and trim pieces for telescoping products to a standard tolerance of ±0.05 mm. The parts are designed to fit the tubes, go through the same quality control, and are inspected and shipped together.

What We DoChoosing an Alloy

CNC machining uses a computer program to cut parts from solid metal. No tooling is needed, so sampling is fast and a design change only means a program change.

Most common

Telescoping fittings

End caps, connectors, locking parts and trim. Fits are designed together with the tube, so you source everything in one place.

About 3–5 days

Part samples

Sampled in the same material and process as production, to verify structure and real assembly.

Made with your tubes

Production with your tubes

After sample approval, parts and tubes go into production together and ship together. No separate parts supplier needed.

Materials and Machining RangeChoosing an Alloy

Part grades differ from tube grades, and that is normal: tubes are drawn or extruded, parts are machined, so the material logic differs. We recommend how tubes and parts pair up.

Material

Aluminum

Stainless steel

Copper alloys

Carbon and alloy steel

Eco iron

Special materials

Material

6061 / 6063 / 7075

303 / 304 / 316·316L / 410·416

Brass C360 / C260, copper C110, bronze

1018 / 1045 / 4140 / 1215

Lead-free low-carbon

Inconel nickel alloy, magnesium alloy and more

Notes

7075 is a high-strength aerospace grade

316 suits marine use; 410 and 416 can be heat-treated

Copper conducts well; bronze suits wear parts

On request; 1215 is a lead-free free-machining steel

On request; RoHS compliant

How We WorkChoosing an Alloy

From drawing to shipment in four steps.

01

Send drawings

3D preferred (STEP), or 2D technical drawings. Only an idea? We can draw it for you.

02

Approach first, then quote

First reply within 6–10 hours with an initial approach; formal quote with design-for-manufacturing notes within 24–48 working hours.

03

Sample approval

About 3–5 days, in production material and process.

04

Production and inspection

Incoming material, CNC, deburring, finishing and shipping, each step inspected.

Drawings can be shared under an NDA. Custom parts that need tooling:
