Upsilon assembles tubes, parts and packaging on one line: spring clips, force adjustment, parts, function testing, final inspection and packing, with every step inspected. We ship semi-finished goods or retail-ready products, and parts from your other suppliers can come here to be inspected, packed and shipped together.

The Assembly Line: Six Steps, All Inspected
Great parts mean little if they are assembled wrong. A telescoping product earns its value on the assembly line.
01
Fit spring clips
Phosphor bronze clips go inside; aluminum and carbon fiber also get plastic clips.
02
Adjust the force
Each pole is set to the feel you want.
03
Fit parts
Grips, end caps, connectors, locking and functional parts.
04
Function test
Smooth extension, locking, retention, appearance.
05
Final inspection
One more check before shipping.

Packing
To export standard,
or in your retail packaging.
Assembly
Eco-friendly adhesive: you won’t see it, but we care
Wherever parts are bonded, metal to metal, metal to plastic or plastic to plastic, we use a colorless, odorless, eco-friendly adhesive with no flash point that withstands heat for long periods and won’t cause allergies, redness or itching on skin contact. Test report available.
It is a detail customers rarely see but one that matters for safety, especially for products held close to the body or handled by children.
Packaging
From export protection to retail-ready packaging.
Standard protective packing
Crush-, moisture-, dust- and sun-resistant, in 5-ply export cartons.
Carton weight
We recommend 25–30 kg (55–66 lb) per carton, usually a dozen to several dozen poles: easy to handle and hard to crush.
Retail packaging
Color boxes, barcodes, hang tags, labels and instructions. You provide the content and design; we produce and print.
Pallets and container loading
Palletized shipping available; we calculate loads for 20 ft, 40 ft and 40 ft high-cube containers to help you work out freight cost.
The Last Mile: Hand Us Your Other Purchases Too
A product is rarely just the pole: brush heads, nets, accessories, manuals and boxes may come from several suppliers. Have them all delivered to Upsilon, and we inspect them, assemble or kit them, then pack and ship them with your telescoping products.
01
Deliver to our factory
Your other suppliers send their parts and packaging materials straight to Upsilon.
02
Incoming inspection
Checked batch by batch against your standards, so problems are caught before shipping, not at destination.
03
Assemble or kit
Assembled with the telescoping product into a finished item, or packed together as a set.
04
Ship together
Packed and loaded in the same shipment as your telescoping products.
One point of contact
You only manage one factory.
Lower freight
Goods from different suppliers travel together, in fewer separate shipments.
One checkpoint
Everything is inspected here before it ships.
RFID Tags: Receiving, Counting and Inventory
RFID reads information from a chip by radio waves: no lining up, no scanning one by one, and many items can be read at once through the packaging. Upsilon adds RFID/EPC tags to the hang tag or packaging of each unit.
Hang tags and packaging
Retail warehouses: faster receiving and counts
Large retailers’ warehouses use the tags to receive goods, count stock and track inventory: a whole carton passing a reader is read at once, with no unpacking to scan barcodes.
A number for every unit
Inventory and asset management: every unit visible
Every tag on a hang tag or package carries its own number, so you and your retailers always know where stock is and how it moves:
Receiving: confirm a shipment is complete without opening cartons
Stock counts: read a whole shelf or pallet at once, far faster than barcodes
Tracking: follow each unit from warehouse to store
Loss prevention: spot missing units quickly
Tags go on the hang tag or packaging, placed to suit your and your retailer’s requirements.
