SpecificationsChoosing an Alloy

Our standard practice and what’s possible, in one place. Need something outside these ranges? Send it over and we’ll evaluate.

Materials

Stainless steel (201 / 304 / 316 / 316L), aluminum (6063 / 6061 / 6005) and H65 brass. Carbon fiber is not offered as bare tubing.

Diameter

Aluminum Ø7–52 mm (0.28–2.05 in); stainless and brass Ø2.8–23 mm (0.11–0.91 in). 100+ stock sizes go straight to production. Stock tables:                                       ,                             ,

Tolerances

Wall ±0.05 mm for precision-drawn stainless and brass; aluminum wall to a mutually agreed standard; cut length ±0.1 mm per section.

Telescoping force

Set to the feel you want; each extra section adds about 200–300 g (0.4–0.7 lb).

Locking

All five options available on bare tubing: friction-fit, internal twist lock, external twist lock, push-button (ball-detent) lock and flip lock. Retention on every tube.

Color

With no MOQ: aluminum in natural or black; stainless and brass in natural. Other colors are matched to Pantone with production orders that meet the 3,000 pcs per SKU MOQ.

Logo

Laser engraving preferred: done in house and fine for small batches. Printed logos (silk-screen, transfer, hot stamping, UV) need a minimum quantity.

MOQ & lead time

No MOQ; mix materials and diameters in one order. Ships in 15–20 days from order confirmation, excluding international shipping.

Scope

Mechanical telescoping only (spring clips and locks); hydraulic, pneumatic and electric telescoping are not supported
