Q1 · How do I tell Bare Telescoping Tubing, Semi-Finished, and Finished Product apart?

Bare Telescoping Tubing = tube body only, no front-end parts; Semi-Finished = tube body + front-end parts, structurally complete but not built into a product; Finished Product = complete and ready to use. The test is simple: can it be used straight out of the box? Any complete structure that can't be used as-is is Semi-Finished.

Q2 · Do I use your grips and end plugs, or can I customize?

Accepted Answer

You can use our standard grips and end plugs, or customize them. Each year we invest in 100–200 sets of tooling for parts, fittings, grips, adapters, and the like. You can customize your color and add your logo on our existing styles and save the tooling cost; or we can build strictly to your design, with tooling typically 30–45 days, and the die is yours exclusively.

Q3 · How is the 3,000 MOQ counted? Can I mix colors and specs?

Accepted Answer

The 3,000 MOQ is counted by SKU, with no mixing: different colors, diameters, and lengths are each a separate SKU, 3,000 pcs each. Example: the same pole in black and blue is 2 SKUs, 3,000 pcs each. If you're still comparing options, start with Bare Telescoping Tubing (no MOQ), then move to production.

Q4 · Can the telescoping tension differ section by section?

Accepted Answer

Telescoping tension can't be set per section. It's a physical property of the telescoping structure: tension accumulates section by section, from light to firm, adding 200–300 g with each additional section from the starting force. Tell us the feel you want (a light pull that moves easily, or firmer so it holds), and we'll tune it.

Q5 · Can you print my logo?

Accepted Answer

Yes, your logo can be printed, as an option: silk-screen, transfer, hot-stamping, UV printing, and laser engraving. We recommend the most suitable process for your material and finish.

Q6 · How is quality guaranteed?

Accepted Answer

Every piece inspected, no spot-checks: tube cutting ±0.1 mm, phosphor bronze spring clips fitted to set the tension, final QC before packing. The first piece and the last are near-identical.

Accepted Answer

Samples in 7–10 days; formal production about 30–45 days (excluding international freight). If tooling is needed, add 30–45 days. Cartons follow the international shipping standard of 5-ply boxes, generally kept to 20–25 kg per carton to avoid crush damage over long transit.

Yes, before production we provide a pre-production sample using the same material and process as mass production, to verify quality, tolerance, finish, and feel. The sample fee is refunded after a formal order.

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you ship us your functional parts, we fit them and then ship. Customer-supplied parts are fitted by us, with cost assessed by the assembly steps and itemized in the quote. If you need us to ship a finished product, we can also provide the matching tooling and parts production.

Q10 · What information do I need to provide for a quote?

Accepted Answer

For a quote, it's ideal to have the application (what environment, how it's used), the tube diameter, retracted/extended length, and any other needs (surface finish or branding). No drawing is fine, and we'll put together a recommendation.
